All day long I hear other docs complain about the long hours, decreasing income, increasing paperwork. I think these guys have never had a real job.
I know people who sit in traffic two hours a day to get to a job where the boss hates you. I remember my construction jobs. Freezing in the winter, roasting in the summer. Hands bleeding. Back aching. Pure misery.
You are right. I have a great job. I am grateful for every day I get to go to work. Retirement? They'll have to kick me out.
