And I've "heard" him try to justify the bike path thing. This guy gets so swelled up he quits his freaking church over a bike path, but shrugs nonchalantly when we capture Saddam Hussein or liberate Afghanistan. Yeah, he's a warrior of the Liberal stripe, with all his priorities in order.
