You GOTTA be kidding...ask your kids about the "death awareness" stuff they are being taught in the Government screw-alls. My daughter graduated from high school in '88. She was given an assignment to write an essay about how she'd feel if I or her mom died...then asked to write her own obit. Mind games? Kids in government schools aren't being educated, they are being indoctrinated! Of course, all is being done in the name of suicide prevention... (edit) IMHO, the WORST thing you can do to a kid is place him or her in the hands of a High screw-all "counselor". Check the requirements for the job.
