Mikester,
I only drive out of the neighberhood with one - and they sit up front. The 77 doen't have airbags so it is cool. Normally, it is my 6yr old and he wieghs almost 60lbs so he doesn't need a car seat. As far as Lisa driving the car - she hasn't in about a month. The last time, she backed it into my Volvo, put a little dent in my door. I didn't say a word as I watched. She gave me a sheepish grin and never said a word. I give her about 8 months before she gets up the nerve again. Prior, she liked zipping around in it but did say the clutch and shifting was something she had to get used to.

P-car: The boxter is a nice ride but I'm partial to the 911. Get her involved in some DE's with your local PCA chapter. She may catch the bug and want to do some runs.

You may want to reconsider the additional purchase of a 911. Your wife may be the most understanding and coolest thing around but when the baby comes, momma is gonna have some mood swings for sure, additional purchases that are not baby related will go over like a fart in a dive bell.

Also, keep in mind, unless you are rich as Trump, that little bundle is gonna drain your Porsche budget. A 911 maybe a pipe dream. One way to save some serious bucks is to have her nurse. This will save you large believe it or not. The upside is it is better for the kid, it's free and momma retains a nice set that you can also enjoy!
