The following assumes you're using XP Pro on a home network, NOT on a domain...
1.) Right-click the System Volume Information folder.
2.) Click [Properties] and select the [Security] tab. Click [Add]
3.) Enter the name of the user you are allowing access to the folder (YOUR user name).
4.) Click [OK], and then click [OK].
5.) Double-click the System Volume Information folder to open.
