I think I might agree with masraum, the heat could be backdated.

The blower motor helps push heat only during low rpm times like idling. If you backdate you aren't eliminating the heat , you'll actually have more heat then you are use to because a non functional heater blower is an obstruction in the heat path. Once you remove it the engine fan pushes heat more directly into the cabin, especially as the revs increase.

It also cleans up the engine compartment and makes the car lighter changing your power to weight ratio!!!

You'll be hotter and faster!
