just purchased a new "parts" car.
problem is the new parts car is better than my baby!
parts car is a 1983, 944 n\a, with 65K orig miles, timing belt broke.
Dont you just love those roken belts?
I flipped when I saw it, orig fuchs, new pirellis, orig radio, sport seats, and he hands me a $2K receipt for a clutch job done 3K miles ago along with the front seal water pump receipt etc.
I had the nerve to ask if the price was negotiable, he just looked at the car and so did I. I said I'll take it.
Scenario: My 85 944 that I got from the orig owner with a broken belt was going to be my baby, shes now being put on the corner!
I have too many cars as Im getting a minivan on Monday also.

85 early black 944, recent clutch, 4 michelin pilot tires with under 5K miles, straight body, no accidents, has a leaky sunroof, some switches dont work etc, driver seat torn. odometer stopped a few months ago at 95K when I pressed it while driving. Needs sway bar bushings installed,(i have these new), front seal leak,( was gonna do it, power steering fitting broke(was gonna do that too)
I will sell it for $2800 and expect to get more from ebay, if anyone wants more pictures, or is interested please pm me.
I will drive the car with prepayment to any major airport withen @ 12 hours from 11717 and posibilly florida.
