Do you know whether your mixture is okay? That is, if it has just been set 'by ear' so to speak, then playing wiht the mixture might be interesting. Richen it up a little and go for a spin.
It misses at higher rpms, but will it go there, In other words, does it miss but still go faster. I'm thinking about the fuel pump shutting off at too low and RPM. The 'governor' on your car shuts off the fuel pump I believe.
but then I realized that if it is starving for fuel, a plugged fuel line or filter is more likely
