Just thought I would throw this out there to get everyone's attention.

Been having problem big time with pop up ads on my computer. Downloaded lavasoft ad aware and spy bot to help solve the problem - it did help but still had the problem

Anyway, if I turned my computer on and let it set there, about five ads would pop up.

Resolution - Big Time - Remove internet explorer. Once this was done, no more pop up ads. You have to do a file search for "Internet Explorer" and remove all the programs.

If the program can't be removed, open the file up with MS word and delete it's contents, save and then delete.

Internet explorer is vulnerable to pop up ads. and until Internet explorer comes up with a way to solve this problem, it won't go away.

It's that simple. No more pop up ads.

Mozilla is an alternative web brouser to use.

I know this message will be moved to OT, but hopefully the word will get out - Remove internet explorer and your pop up ad problem will be history.
