This is an interesting remark from the ranking Republican Senate budget committee member, considering the information I provided above and the brute fact that everyone notices the legislature is having a very hard time closing a bodget gap of $2.2 billion. It's a very irresponsible and self-serving remark, but that's what we've come to expect.
