Also, I have found that cars feel faster when you are sitting in the passenger's seat. My friend had a 50hp VW Rabbit diesel that felt fast, the way he whipped it around. Then I drove it. Ugh. It was literally the slowest car I have ever driven. It could barely hit 65 on the highway. From the passenger seat, though, it felt zippy!
