They have changed their get-together to: Funfest for Porsche. I've taken my son to 2 of the last 3 annual gatherings. Nice to see about 200 Porsches altogether here in the Midwest. They attract cars from KS, MO, IA, IL, IN and OH judging by the plates. We saw our first C-GT there last summer, also rare models from a private collection. Suncoast Porsche is usually there with the latest models on display, and for test driving. After 4pm, they lead us on a drive thru the countryside about 30 - 40 miles on 2 lane blacktops, then stop at a place to taste wine or get ice cream. Last year it was to see LeMans, the movie. Everything is free, except your lunch and sodas. Mike Yager is the owner's name, and he is nice to give back to his customers. Also caters to VW, BMW and Corvette owners in separate catalogues and Funfests.
Its hard to see a variety of P-cars where we live, so for no other reason than that, I appreciate his efforts with the get-togethers.
I've not had the price difference problems some mention, but agree putting out a catalog is expensive, probably having an effect on his prices.
