Just curious as well; what makes the '72 so damn fast? Not doubting you guys at all, just wondering because I've ridden in Jack Olsen's lightened '72 w/ 3.6 quite a bit, including around the fastest track in the West, and while it's fast it is nothing unusual in the power dept. compared to any modern sporty car. (Which he will be the first to admit). His car has beaten cars w/ double the power in multiple races w/ he and Tyson driving, but the car isn't super powerful at all. ~280hp I think.
