350, you are so right in so many ways. It's terribly depressing to me to see how much modern "Christians" have utterly forgotten that Jesus came to save people, and get their minds wrapped around all the rules. (sigh) Yes, there are rules. There is right and wrong. But Jesus didn't come to change our diets or our clothes, he came to change our *lives*. He accepted people where they were, showed them God's love regardless of their sin, and made an impact on humanity like no one else.
If Jesus was locked in a room with a homosexual or an atheist, I think the results would be ... surprising, most likely, and probably not the response you'd get by using a modern Christian.
