Some folks here regard me as a wild-eyed, nutzoid far-left freak, though few people who have actually met me retain that impression. Island, for instance. Everyone else likes me okay.
I'm just curious. I have just as much problem with gubmint actions and gubmint spending as anyone else, but I don't regard gubmint as some sort of "them" that I can place blame on. There are exceedingly few people who, when it boils down to it, oppose the existence of government. It's just a question of what we expect it to do, and how.
And my only allegiance to industri/business/commerce is in the degree to which it impacts peoples' lives. I love capitalism to the degree that it improves peoples' lives, and hate it to the degree it damages those lives.
But it's important for some people to think of me as looney, and I confess to a certain affinity for debate.
