depending on the car drifting is faster. If you have an f1 then you wont have the advantage drifting but in a car with less grip you can go through the turn with more speed a bit sideways depending on the turn. If you have a 240sx that has trouble handeling around a turn at speeds higher then 40 mph then entering the turn at i higher speed like say 60mph, and sliding through it so that your leaving the corner with more speed can be faster. Keichi did it and won races thats proof right there. Once again im not talking about drifting like you see it in the d1. There is a difference between a race drift and a show drift.
