Started in 1980 on a TRS-80 via private lessons. Wrote a patient billing system for my mom that ran on a 8088 in turbo pascal, worked until she closed her office doors 3 years ago. Had some COBOL, Fortran, and more Pascal in high school. Wrote a program in basic that was for D&D character generation, sent it to be published in Dragon Magazine (they never published it). Got out of computers until '94, started getting paid to use them in '98, did some utility programming in Visual Basic, fixing perl scripts, some cgi stuff in
VB, now I'm doing some stuff in php - generic form processing to either email or sql db, the online calendar for the college I work at (
http://apps2.sfcc.edu/calendar), my 356talk archive (see sig), etc.
