Is San Francisco the best choice? I agree that we don't want to do a lot of driving. Maybe a 4 -5 day stay in San Francisco would be best. Although I would really like to see Monterey.

Steve - thanks for all the links. Could you burn 4- 5 days in Monterey?

We are looking for a relaxing time, a romantic get away. Will San Francisco fit the bill or should we do a B&B in Monterey instead?
