There was indeed an RS in 1974, and it had a 3.0 liter engine that was the forerunner to the engines for the 930/Carrera3.0/SC/3.2, and beyond.
If this particular car is the real deal, reasonably priced, and road registrable, it would be worth snapping up!
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but these things produced around 270bhp, and weighed under 1000kg.
Quite the animal in the right hands.
