SOLD
I need to pay rent so my 914 has to go.
The engine was rebuilt recently and has ~5000 miles on it. When I rebuilt it I replaced the FI with new 44IDF carbs and the 89a webcam and new europistson. The fly wheel was also balanced and has a new Sachs 6 spring clutch. I replaced all shift bushings, shifts fine now. New coil, rotary fuel pump, filter, distributor, 911 sport mounts on the tranny. I also replaced the stock brake calipers with the BMW 320I calipers(painted red), plus new 19mm master cylinder. It has front and rear sway bars, and KYB rear shocks with stock springs, 2.0 fuch 4-lug rims. Has the early chrome bumpers
Things that need work: Rust under the battery tray and on the opposite side corner of the engine bay. One side of the rear trunk lid mount needs to be re-welded back to the body, the paint color is Orange and could use some touch up in a few spots. The rubber seals above the windows and on the side of the windows on the roll bar need to be replaced. The interior was in good condition before it started raining this winter...so it smells moldy and the floor carpet and seats need to be cleaned. It has Nitto low profile tires that were good, but there a few years old and cracking so they should probably be replaced.
I got the body from someone in Arizona and the car is still registerd in that state. I have the title and it will need to be re-registered.
Right now it runs but the carbs are out of sync. I don't have the right tools or the time to sync them.
Also, the engine dropped a valve last summer and it just got fixed, the car hasn't been driven except home from the shop.
Other than that, the engine is fast and it runs strong, but due to school and money I can't afford this car anymore.
The engine was rebuilt at Car Craft in LA and I have most all the receipts for parts.
I need to sell it by this weekend. $1900 to the first person.
The car is located in San Diego, if you have any quetions or would like to come check it out my phone number is 760.855.1964
