I remember hearing the same story myself one time.
One thing that was recently in the news was the fact that the parents had also decided to pull the plug on one of their parents who still had a fully functional brain, but who had become a bit of a burden on them in their old age. Nice double standard, huh?
Interestingly enough their congressional shrill, Delay, also had the plug pulled on one of his parents for exactly the same reason.
Nice hypocrisy, huh?
