About 20 years ago, I remember reading an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal by George Will regarding the subway shooting in New York by Bernard Goetz.. if you can remember that one. Anyway, the point of the article was that in a society, we make agreements with the government that we expect them to uphold. For example, they enforce the law and keep the peace, and we won't be vigilantes. When the government doesn't enforce its own laws, we take the law into our own hands. I see nothing wrong with citizens protecting our borders, if the government won't, or can't or whatever their excuse. Especially when the Minutemen are only helping the Border Patrol by finding these people, they aren't shooting, "arresting" or otherwise harming them. In fact, I read that they have given some illegals food and water while they kept them cornered.
