I own several MGA'S and would say that 7k is in the ball park. This is depending on how much rust the car has or doesn't have. Is it fairly straight and does it have wire wheels? The prices of these cars have been going up like crazy and now non running projects can fetch 5k. These are just my opinions based on 29 years experience with mg's.
