Electronic Voice Phenomenon?

I know some of you will laugh, but I want to discuss this topic.
How many of you have heard of E.V.P. (Electronic Voice Phenomenon)?

A friend and I were talking about it and general curiosity promted me to do a bit of reading on the subject.

Basically, EVP are voices recorded on media of unknown origin. Unfortunately, this stuff seems to revolve around the ouija board/mothership types. So it can be kind of hard to differentiate between serious scientific efforts to understand EVP and your garden variety 'foilhead'.

Like this: "After the september eclipse water became holographic. So what now? Accessing congruence through processes such as the ghost check. Viewed as a series of interlaced "big wheels" or radial spokes through the transparency of reality, time becomes intermittent between the self and the quintessential. Rebuilding the electronic mind, Electronic-Voice- Phenomenon are musical wastelands. The mission of water is to act as a multi-dimensional transporter. Existence?"

WTF???

Anyway,
I've found a few websites and there is really some interesting information out there.
Here is a link to a page with EVP samples.

Or conversely, here is a link for skeptic.com:

Let me first say I'm not a Class A, gullible, searching for the afterlife ghost hunter. But this stuff is compelling to say the least!

Would I be completely off my rocker if I tried recording my garage space to see if I can hear voices cursing at a car or bloody knuckle?

Perhaps we could travel to Gmund and see if we can get a clip of Dr. Porsche rambling about the new aluminum bodied car he's building.

Ferdinand... are you there... ..come in Ferdinand...

Okay, I'm being silly. But seriously, what do you all think of this stuff?
