I submit the literal Websters definitions simply don't fit anymore. Maybe they never did? I know what the core of my party stands for, and it is NOT simply the status quo. Opportunity, small government, personal responsibility, strong military, capitalism, etc.. These will always be our beliefs, whether our leaders adhere to them or not, whether they are reflected in the status quo or not.
