Good way to do a backup is to set up an account with a web hosting company.
You can get an account with 5 gb of space for $20 or less a month.
Set automated back ups to your online account.
That way you can access the stuff from anywhere that you have an internet connection AND the provider will be doing daily backups of the server, double redundancy and peace of mind.
