I thought "later arms" means after 1971??

I'm not sure of upgrades, or changes to my car, but here's what I have, and measured during my attempted rear shock install:

Original Bolt: M14 x 1.75 x 95mm long ----fastened with a nut on the opposite end.

Original shocks: Bilstein with 14mm ID bushing

New Shocks: Bilstein HD with 12mm ID bushing.

If I press out the old bushing then I have new shocks with a worn out mounting bushing. I don't want to do that. It was suggested I drill out the new one. I'd reduce the wall thickness by 1mm, and this would make the bushing very thin. I don't want to do that either.
