Motorcycle widows

Are there any motorcycle widows (or widowers) here besides me?
My husband is a total fanatic about bikes and always has been. My daughter has followed in his footsteps.
I do have a license but I just can't seem to muster any real enthusiasm. Sometimes hubby and beloved offspring go off for Sunday morning rides and come back just late enough to ruin Sunday lunch. Sometimes I go along as pillion with one of them so we go somewhere all together, not very often as I know I am a dead weight at these times and, even if they don't say it, I know I am putting a damper on their day. I could follow on one of the other bikes but that would be even worse as they would have to slow down so I could keep up. I have a license but I am neither happy or comfortable in charge of a fast motorcycle.
I am not against motorcycles, sometimes I take out an old one my husband fixed up for our daughter to learn on when she was a kid to go and buy bread and milk at the corner shop, or to visit friends in the neighbourhood when I don't feel like walking. Sometimes I take the little Aprila that was my daughter's 16th birthday present for a ride into town, it shocks the other middleaged housewives and lets me feel like Mrs Gale or Mrs Peel (my childhood rolemodels) but that is about my limit. Sometimes in dutiful wifemode we go somewhere on a bike, I can appreciate the fun of just floating through traffic in reduced journey times. Arriving dirty, with a sore bottom and a bursting bladder is less of a thrill. How do others cope?
