I would say that is a very sad tragedy. She would need all the love and support her family and friends could possibly give her. To suggest that compounding this tragedy with the murder of her unborn child would somehow even it out, somehow make it better, one would have to consider that unborn child as something other than human. I guess that is partly how the "pro choice" crowd gets to sleep at night. The fact of the matter is, no matter how tragic, there is another life to consider in all of this. The one life that has no voice yet, who is entirely dependent upon others to make choices that prolong that life. I know that is a lot to ask in this "me first" society, this society of personal convenience above all else, even another life. That says a great deal about you if you consider the priveledge of bringing a new life into the world as "punishment". Wow. Yup, nothing good can possibly come of that situation, so let's allow (or tell) the young lady to kill the little bastard before he or she can even prove to be a blessing or a curse.
