Teaching does attract losers.
So does accounting, realestate, medicine, investment banking, baseball, politics ....
The hopeful part is, smart people learn regardless of bad teaching. The
not so smart students gain a piece of paper, which doesnt reflect that they
just squeaked by . . . lets them get a cushing govt job some where. .. . or they're your doctor.
it all works out.
