This is a brilliant idea. In our communities, there is plenty of managerial talent to draw from. But maybe there's something that is a barrier to this actually happening. Pay. Perhaps our perception that gubmint workers are just below cochroaches on the respect scale has something to do with it. Then there's the whole business about (allegedly) voters not paying attention, not having a clue about what's going on, so much that election races are glamour contests. Or maybe that it's about advertising, and it takes corporate money to pursue a legitimate campaign. And then there's the really sad problem.....many of the posters here would have to find some other organization to blanketly criticize.
