I work with most Adobe and Macromedia projects, and what concerns me most is the lack of motivation for innovation is completely lost. I'm a hardcore republican/free market guy, but competition is essential for this to work.

I fear they are creating another Microsoft here. Product updates came almost every year with Macromedia vs. every three or four years with a monopoly like Microsoft.

Mark my word, innovation will be stifled.
