OK - I've been thinking about this for the past 7 minutes and this could be great! We could set this up just like Wayne did. Here are a few things that must be figuered. The idea is to have a forum but also generate some $$$ - this is can be done by offering up items, tools and services with out warehousing but rather linking (more on that later). Of course the traffic would also generate ad fee for vendors. Some of the things to have for machinists, programmers, engineers (mech, chem, elec, ind)
1) Must have established credibilty of the 'owners'. (authors, experts, gurus)
2) Structure - copy Pelican! Why re-invent the wheel
3) Establish a real kicka$$ marketing strategy
4) Begin and continue to make money and provide expertise!

OK - I want in but can't do it alone...
