You can get track days that include instruction, and I venture to say you'll get a lot more out of it. I did that with dP Safety School at Thunderhill and it was outstanding. I looked up dP and their instructors are now working at
www.rideredshift.com and they have a track day at Buttonwillow 7/4 (???) for $199.
