Hello,
My name is Les, and I'm a Porscheaholic. I first realized I was different when I was about 12 years old and found myself talking to my friends about Porsches when they only wanted to talk about Barracudas, Mustangs and Cameros. Their attitudes did not change me. I waited, in secret, for the day I would own a Porsche.
Now, forty years later, I am in my second childhood. I have a car that was built before I got my driver's license and I don't care who knows. My wife is supportive. She knows there is no cure, and understands when I disappear to the garage for hours at a time. She says she's happy the only thing I catch is my knuckles, when the wrench slips.
Recently, I was nominated for an award by a group for which I volunteer, the writeup started,"When he is not working on his antique Porsche.."
