Well a 928can be good at auto-x as long as a 911 guy doesn't set the course up only 6' wide. They are great for track days, lots of power and smooth to drive.
As far as value? I can't see it being worth any nore than $1000-$1500 dollars depending on whether it's a ROW "S" (300hp) car or a non "S".
The most it's worth to the current owner is the sum of it's parts minus the frustration of stripping/selling those parts.
Hit in the front may have susp/frame damage depending on the severity.
