You all forgot Wilders first role with Zero Mostel in the Producers...aka Spring time for Hitler....
Also Wilder had a small role in Bonnie and Clyde....
I never cared for Wilder, I just don't think he's funny...
And all the dialog you have quoted from Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein is all Mel Brooks...who along with Norman Lear, Neil Simon, Carl Reiner all came outa the SHow of Shows with Sid Caesar...
