911 targa hard top
I also saw the ad in excellance and thought it was to good to be true. I have a factory hard top on my 78-911 targa and have pondered having it reproduced.The cost is very high, no where near $300.00, more like $1200.00. The factory hardtop does not use the same lacthes as the folding targa top. A much simpler latch. I paid $1200.00 for my hard top a few years ago, i understand they are now going for $1800.00 to $2000.00 IF!!!you can find one . see rinnlist.com for more discussions on this matter thanks, jerry m.
