Line electricians (Linemen) carry a 44 Magnum in their trucks for the purpose of killing generators that are backfeeding the power lines. Or maybe they don't, but they say they do. They hate those things. If you're going to use a generator during an outage, you will want to ensure those circuits are truly independent of the grid.
