I'm not knocking Fla but it can be real nice or real bad. If you can live close to the ocean breezes it has great potential. If your neighbors don't have teeth I'd suggest second thoughts. Don't believe any bs about the place either. You gotta experience it.
fwiw.. the bride said to me a bunch of years ago that "We're not living with your NY buds in the Keys. I don't care how many years they have lived there. Find some place else."
