Why don't you just do it yourself? Put a ballgame on the radio and get on with it. You'll take greater care with it because YOU have to pay for replacement glass. They'll not give a damn. They already told you it will "probably break" which means they will try to sell you the replacement and make the mark up and install labor.

It ain't rocket science and (at least theoretically) you can drive the car while the hatch is out, just watch where you park. Good luck.
