grant, the grip at alameda is pretty damn good, so i don't think that'd be the issue. what pressures are you running in them? i didn't see you messing w/ tire pressure on saturday, and the way your car looked made me think that your tires were accurate but 'skiddish'. ie, run too tight.
i too am surprised that they're wearing so quickly.... then again, you drive to events in them (which trekkor and i don't). honestly, i expect to get a full season out of my hoosiers -- and they are a softer tire.
btw, trekkor's driving sure ain't easy on tires!
