I went to bleed the breaks the other day on my 83SC as I have no record on when the fluid was changed last. Breaks seem ok but are a little spungy.
Jacked up the rear of the car to access the bleed nipples on each side. The problem is that I cant get the bleed nipple undone on both sides. When I try to remove it I feel like I will start to round off the nut. I didnt want to round it off so I stopped.
I was thinking of spraying them with some penetrant then getting some vice grips on them. Obviously this will destroy them so they will need replacement. I am thinking of replacing them with speed bleeders when I get it out.
I am hoping this will work as I dont want to remove the complete break assembly to get them out.
Any thoughts????
