Its starting to catch on. I recently bought a JVC at a fairly low price that has a mini jack on the front panel. Many of the Alpines and Sonys have an interface that allows you to go from the USB to the change control, which, on some units allows direct control and readout from the car stereo. Since almost all of what I have on my Creative is live stuff, I didn't really care about that, so the minijack was a cheap solution.

I've never seen a car headunit with an RCA IN-lots of outs, no ins.
