yeah i forgot about the engine size. it's a 1.7.. i'll try grounding it and see what happens. does the wire connect to the ignition coil?? the ground is connected to the engine block on the passenger side. the nut on the far left of the pic is the the transmission bolt that goes thru to the engine bay. this is where i was thinking about moving the ground to. it seems like the bolt that it's connected to right now is stripped or something.
