A pretty far-fetched idea. You'll need some serious money to play.

Jay Leno has his full time man. I suspect Jerry Seinfeld has A LOT of help. And all the collections and museums have a point man, curator or whatever you want to call him.

I feel pretty energetic and would like to build some cars. I have my own ideas about some 911s that you have never seen the likes of....yet.

Of course, I don't have the money to play. I have been around cars and race cars for 40 years and not much has been lost on me. I think you know where this is going. Sure, a fantasy for most of us, full time play with pay.

But, there may be one reader here that is ready. Don't speak up here, PM me and I'll come interview and we'll see what develops.

A little story before I close: Many years ago (in the early 70's) I ran an ad in the Los Angeles Times. It said, "Wanted: Ferrari fixer or will fix yours." I got a call about a week later from someone who started to say he had something. My recorder (the old tape style) was set on 1 minute recording time and they didn't announce in those days that they were shutting off. So, the guy gets to his phone no. and it ends. He never called back probably thinking I was a jerk for not returning his call.

You never know what could have been. Did I know anything about Ferrari's? Hell NO! But I would have put my honesty, integrity and dedication out to do what I'd rather be doing. That might have been enough in it's own right. However, today I have a lot more to offer. I guess it's called *experience.*

I'm sure this will spark many more stories about cars and what could have been as well as dream cars we would like to have built for us. Bring it on.

I just need to hear from the one right person privately. It still could be.
