Dave - this weather is absolutely killing me! I've never gone more than a month without driving the car. Today makes 5 weeks. I got the car out and drove around the driveway. We've got about a foot of snow and it hasn't been above freezing for two weeks. I don't know how much more I can take.
The Pony Express is a must-do before I die deal. I can't do it yet because of family, but the first chance I get it WILL happen. What a thrill that has got to be. I doubt if I get the chance to play spectator first, too much time involved. My 'vette friend used to haul cars across the country and still has axcess to a multi-car hauler. The plan is to load 'em up, head out, observe for a day or so, then hit it. If they break we haul 'em back. It may be a few years before this comes true, time well spent learning how to drive by doing DE events! Near top end for 100 miles of high speed curves is tough on a car!
