I'm the kind of guy who parks the car in spots with the least chance of getting door-dings.... it's not an exotic model either, but I even do that with my Audi. So, no chance in hell anybody gets to drive it with me concious with the sole exception of my dad.
He knows how to drive, I know he's good for any damage (since he is also all risk insured on the car) and he test drove it when I bought it.
My mom, well, when I was bleeding the brakes I asked her to asist... the result: no brake fluid running out of the calipers as she was stomping the gas pedal... What can I say but "no way she's driving the car".
My sister?: she thought the clutch was stuck (I don't have the helper spring on the clutch) - not that I was letting her drive it; the car was just sitting in the garage.
