Gavin is correct. If it helps to think of "truth" as an immobile, objective final fact, then do so. But in reality, you can find few truths for which there is no convincing argument against. Heck, Einstein even noticed that space and time are not linear. That's hard to get your mental hands around, but it's true. No amount of caffeine can straighten it out. It's curved. The shortest distance between two points is technically NOT a straight line.
