Do we have any geologist types or rock climbers here in PPOT? For my Geology final, I have to write a 2500 word paper on the geology of a place of my choosing. The theme is that of a tour group, so I'm organizing a tour of Chile and Paraguay. Along the way, we have to visit a distinct coastal feature, freshwater feature, and a volcano of some kind.
My tour's theme will be mountain climbing and camping. Basically... land in Santiago, drive to a mountain, climb, camp for the night, go to another mountain, climb, etc..
Anyone have any favorite climbs or geological attractions down that way? How about an awesome coastal feature I could write a few pages on?
